The holidays are all about creativity, joy, and making memories — and what better way to celebrate than with a fun, hands-on art experience? At Color Me Mine Covina, we’re thrilled to bring our Ornament and Holiday Keepsake Painting Events straight to your school!
Every year, this program is one of our most popular events. Students get to paint festive ornaments or keepsakes that make perfect gifts for parents, grandparents, and loved ones. The best part? These creations are both fun to make and heartwarming to keep.
For younger students, we offer a simple and adorable project — handprint reindeer plates!
With a quick paint press of their little hand, we help turn it into Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, complete with a bright red nose and holiday lights. (Just like the one in the photo above!) These keepsake plates are guaranteed to bring smiles for years to come.
We know how busy the holiday season can get, so we make it super easy for schools to host.
You can invite our Color Me Mine Covina team to come on-site and guide the students through the painting process, or you can run it yourself with the help of parent volunteers — we’ll provide all the materials, paints, brushes, and step-by-step instructions.
We’re happy to bring the creativity to you!
Your school receives 20 round-trip miles of free travel from our Covina studio. If you’re a little farther away, there’s just a small travel fee of $0.67 per mile after that.
There’s something magical about handmade gifts. Every brushstroke and fingerprint tells a story — and these keepsakes quickly become treasured family memories. Whether it’s an ornament on the Christmas tree or a handprint plate displayed year-round, these pieces capture a moment in time that parents will cherish forever.
To make sure all keepsakes are fired, finished, and delivered before schools go on winter break, our last event date will be during the first week of December.
